L\u2019investissement, estim\u00e9 \u00e0 164 millions USD avec l\u2019appui de la Banque mondiale, devrait permettre d\u2019augmenter significativement la capacit\u00e9 de production et de desservir, \u00e0 terme, pr\u00e8s de 1,5 million d\u2019habitants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104\"\/ loading=\"eager\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lefleuve243.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261005-WA0038.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lefleuve243.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261005-WA0038.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lefleuve243.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261005-WA0038-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lefleuve243.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261005-WA0038-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La premi\u00e8re pierre de ce projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9e ce lundi \u00e0 Kananga par Aim\u00e9 Sakombi Molendo, ministre des Ressources hydrauliques et de l\u2019\u00c9lectricit\u00e9, repr\u00e9sentant personnel du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, F\u00e9lix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet pr\u00e9voit notamment la construction d\u2019une nouvelle usine de traitement d\u2019eau sur le site de Lulua, ainsi que la r\u00e9habilitation et l\u2019extension de l\u2019usine de Kanyuka. Le r\u00e9seau de distribution de la ville doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre renforc\u00e9 dans le cadre de ces travaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon les pr\u00e9visions pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es, les nouvelles infrastructures permettront de porter la capacit\u00e9 nominale de production \u00e0 <strong>125 000 m\u00b3 d\u2019eau par jour<\/strong>.
